New Freedom Transitional Living's Secondary Care program is based on a "step-down" approach which suggests that gradual steps need to be taken to ensure a solid foundation for long-term sobriety. Secondary Care consists of structured sober living, four hours of group IOP therapy weekly, access to two 12-Step meetings daily, attendance of life-skills events, access to the local YMCA, and daily house meetings. Secondary Care is not limited to any specific length of care but has been designed as the last step before sober living in New Freedom Recovery House.

One of the most important factors in recovery is that we learn to be fully self-supporting. New Freedom Recovery House is designed to cost the family as little as possible while allowing the client to stay with us for six months. The admission fee for New Freedom Recovery House is $899.99 which covers the client's first month. During the clients first 30 days they are required to find a job and pay $125.00 per week for the remainder of their stay. No further financial assistance will be accepted from the family after the admission costs.

It is very important to our clients that their family members also participate in a program of recovery. The family program is accessible by any family member of a client in any of our treatment programs. The rates depend on what program your loved one is attending. Included in New Freedom Transitional Living House Primary Care program is the cost of one family members participation in the Valley Hope's family program, additional family members cost is $50.00 per week per member. If the client is attending any other portion of our program the cost for three weeks of the family program is $450.00 paid in advance.

DUI charges are very difficult to deal with and even harder to clean up. We offer access to an array of online DUI programs designed to help the client regain their driving privileges. The severity of the DUI charge determines which program is appropriate; this information can ONLY be obtained by the family through the court system. It is your responsibility to research which program is appropriate for your loved one's situation. The DUI Education level of care is appropriate for individual who have received their first DUI offense. This level includes 16 program hours at a cost of $200.00. The DUI Treatment level of care is appropriate for those who have been determined to have a problem with substance abuse and alcoholism. This program can include anywhere from 36-96 hours of treatment at a rate of $25.00/hour. Driver Revocation Packets can be completed at a cost of $165.00 and Initial assessment screening is $90.00.

Detox from drugs and alcohol can be dangerous and should never be attempted at home. New Freedom has access to a medical detox facility located in Chandler, AZ and can provide local transportation between our facilities. The cost of the medical detox process is independent of New Freedom. This detox is covered by many insurance providers.
