New Freedom is a home where we live, eat, sleep, work and play in a recovery friendly enviornment. It is not a rehabilitation facility, detoxification facility or other institution in the traditional sense of the meaning. Our name implies that we will discover new opportunties during our stay to live life on life's term. We practice the daily challenges of life free from the need for alcohol or other mood altering chemicals.

New Freedom's goal is to promote freedom, happiness and peace in a setting that is conducive to a complete and fulfilling recovery. Members at New Freedom are required to comply with various recovery-oriented standards. Such standards include the prohibition of alcohol and all non-prescribed mood altering drugs and chemicals; the attendance of in-house and external meetings; respect for each others' privacy, safety and possessions; weekday and weekend curfews; sharing of house maintenance chores and other standards.

New Freedom immerses its members in traditional twelve-step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and AL-ANON while recognizing that fun, making a living and enjoying healthy relationships with family, friends, and the community are critical components of a successful and fulfilling recovery.
